What is the standard eyesight requirement for the Flying branch in IAF?
Sir, I am suffering from Myopia. My right eye is perfectly fit but in left eye I am having - 0.5 power. Can I apply for Flying branch of Indian Air Force through NDA examination?

In Indian Air Force (i.e. IAF), you can join in following branches i.e.
Every candidate must have at least 6/6 in one eye and 6/9 in another eye. And the other eye's can be correctable to 6/6 only for hypermetropia. Here, note that vision defects like Myopia is not accepted. So, candidates having myopia cannot apply for IAF Flying branch. |

--The standard eye sight required for the Flying branch in IAF area s follows:-
:- 6/6 in one eye :- 6/8or 6/9 in another eye. -NOTE:- if you have any type of problem related to eye,first mention it with their forum and discuss it otherwise it will be a punishable act. |
