The best way to become Pilot after 10+2 is to enter Defense through the National Defense Academy entrance exam.

NDA/NA exam is conducted twice every year by the Union Public Service Commission every year. It gives you chance to join different wings of defense:

>>Indian Army.

>>Indian Airforce

>>Indian Navy.

Eligibility criteria:

>>You must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board with mathematics and physics as compulsory subjects for Airforce and Navy. For Indian army, you are eligible with any stream of 10+2.

>>The age limit is 16.5-19.5 years with upper age relaxation for candidate of any category.

>>Only unmarried male Indian candidates can apply for the exam.

There are two stages of exam:

1. Written test

2. Service Selection board.

Written test consists of two papers, one of mathematics and other is of General ability test. After clearing this, you will have to appear for SSB which is 5-6 days test, clearing which you will be able to join any wings of defense.

For any more details about this exam, you can visit www.upsc.gov.in.

If you have done 10+2 with physics and mathematics with at least 50% marks, then as per Directorate General of Civil Aviation, you are eligible Commercial Pilot License. You can join flying schools for training approved by DGCA.

You can go for Bachelor's degree in Aeronautics or Aeronautical Engineering for becoming pilot after bachelor's degree. One other way is through AFCAT exam for joining flying branch of Indian Airforce.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
