Intelligence Bureau ACIO Exam 2012 shall consist of Written test in Objective as well as subjective in nature.
The Paper-I will be objective and Paper-II will be subjective.
The Descriptive Paper (Paper-II) is basically the test of English Language.
The total duration of both the Papers iePaper-I and Paper-II is 1 Hour and 40 minutes

The objective questions of intelligence bureau acio executive exam 2012 will be consisted of following topics:

General awareness test,
English language test,
Reasoning Test and
Questions from Mathematical aptitude.

The descriptive test of IB ACIO Exam 2012 will consists of questions from General English in which there will be question of Essay and Precis Writing type.

IB is Intelligence Bureau and it comes under Ministry of External Affairs (MHA).

MHA invites every year application for Assistant Central Intelligence Officers ( ACIO).

ELIGIBILITY:

You should be a Graduate in any discipline from a recognised university to apply for this exam.


EXAM PATTERN :

The exam is both objective and descriptive in nature .

Paper I is objective and Paper II is subjective in nature.

Paper II is English paper which tests your English writing skills.

The duration of exam is 1 hour 40 minutes.

Objective paper will have questions from subjects like General awareness, English language, Reasoning *and mathematical aptitude.


Paper II will have questions from English language like Essay writing and Letter writing.


If you pass the written exam then you will be called for interview.

Assistant Central Intelligence Officer or ACIO is a Grade C level officer in the Intelligence Bureau.

If you have completed graduation degree then you are applicable for ACIO Exam.Your age should be below 27 years old.Age relaxation provide for reserved category .

Selection is done via a Written Test comprising of two papers Written test Time limit: 1 hour 40 Minutes

Paper I :- Paper I is consist of Mathematical Aptitude, General Awareness, English Language and Reasoning.

Paper II is the descriptive paper which will test your English Language .

Full form of ACIO is Assistant Central Intelligence Officer. To recruit these officers an examination is conducted by the intelligence bureau whenever there is a vacancy for the same.

To sit for the ACIO exam you need to complete graduation first in any discipline of your choice from a recognized university. In addition to that you need to have prior knowledge of how to handle a computer. This will give you an edge over others.

For general category candidates the upper age limit is 27 years. The upper age limit can be relaxed for three years for OBC candidates and for five years for SC/ST candidates. For a government employee with three years experience the upper age limit becomes 40 years.

Selection Procedure includes:-

i) Written Examination
ii) Personal Interview

Exam Pattern and Syllabus:-

The written exam comprises of objective test and descriptive test.

1. Mathematical Aptitude
2. General Awareness
3. English Language
4. Reasoning

Descriptive Test Paper:- Paper-II is the descriptive paper which will test your English Language skill. Essay and Precis writing will be there mainly to check your knowledge.

Pay Scale: The pay scale which the intelligence bureau is offering is Rs. 9300-34800. There is a grade pay of Rs. 42000 for the assistant central intelligence officers.
