Indian overseas Bank(IOB) clerk exam pattern & syllabus is given as follows:-

- All question are objective
- Total no question -> 250
- total weightage -> 250
- Exam Duration -> 150min
- Negative marking -> 1/4 or 0.25 marks of respective question


Selection of candidates is purely based on written exam and interview, the details are listed below.

Objective test consist of :-
- Reasoning question
- general English language
- Numerical ability
- General awareness
- Banking industry questions
- computer knowledge..

The IOB Bank Clerical Objective Tests consists of (i) Test of Reasoning (ii) Test of English Language (iii) Test of Numerical Ability (iv) Test of General Awareness with special reference to Banking industry (v) Test of Computer knowledge. (250 Questions carrying total weightage of 250 with total time duration of 150 minutes).

Following is the common syllabus for diffrent nationalized Banks Clerical Cadre Examination.

Written Test- Objective Tests

1. Test of Reasoning: 50 Question
2. Test of English Language: 50 Questions
3. Test of Clerical Aptitude: 50 Questions
4. Test of Numerical Ability: 50 Questions

Total number of Objective questions: 200 Questions.

I HAVE IOB CLERICAL EXAM ON 29 MAY 2011 AND IN THIS EXAM THERE IS ONE SECTION Test of General Awareness with special reference to Banking Industry.
WHAT TYPE OF QUESTIONS WILL B ASKED IN THIS SECTION(I MEAN TO SAY WITH SPECIAL REFERENCE TO BANKING INDUSTRY)
