Re: What is the syllabus of NDA exam and when should one apply?
Since, you have not pursued Mathematics at your Class 12th level, you are not eligible for joining Indian Navy or Indian Air force through NDA ( National Defense Academy ) but you are still eligible for joining Indian Army as per your educational qualification.
Further, the syllabus for the NDA entrance examination can be downloaded along with the notification released for the same examination by referring to the link www.upsc.gov.in. From the same link, you can even download the past year papers of same examination too. Also, the application form for the same examination is usually available in the month of January every year in case of NDA I examination conducted in April while the application for NDA II held in November is usually active during August. |

While candidates appearing class 12 or equivalent are also eligible to apply for the examination but only for the army cadre. syllabus of NDA includes: (1)MATHEMATICS (2)GENERAL SCIENCE(INCLUDING CHEMISTRY, PHYSICS, BIOLOGY) (3)GENERAL KNOWLEDGE(INCLUDING HISTORY, GEOGRAPHY, SUPERLATIVES ETC.) (4)CURRENT AFFAIRS It comprises of 2 papers: (1)MATHEMATICS (2)GENERAL ABILITY One should have to clear the present cutoff to appear for next stage i.e"SSB". |
