I am preparing for MPSC rajyaseva(maharastra) but don't know about syllabus of pre and main & which books can i refer for study & get select in first atempt, & also give me guideline about compulsory & optional subjects for rajyaseva pre & main.

MPSC - Maharashtra Public Service Commission.

MPSC conducts conducts entrance exam for appointments to various civil services in the state of Maharashtra.

Eligibility Criteria for MPSC -

Age Requirements -

(a) OBC: 35 years
(b) SC/ST/NT: 38 years
(c) Open Category: 33yrs / for PSI exams it is 28 yrs

Educational Qualifications:- A candidate must be a graduate.

Pattern of the exam -

There are 3 stages of the exam -

Preliminary exam

Main exam

Final Interview.

The Maharashtra Public Service commission known as MPSC exams is conducted by the Maharashtra state government every year generally in the months of Febraury/march for various Administrative posts in the state.

The Stages for MPSC-:

Preliminary
Mains
Interview.


Syllabus for Pre exams-:

Paper I and Paper II of 200 marks each with Two hours of duartion,medium would be of both English as well as Marathi.All the questions will be of Objective types.

Paper I consists of General Studies.

Paper II generally covers the following-:

General Knowledge
General English
General Marathi.


After passing the Pre exams you will be eligible for the Mains examination and then finally if passed in this you will be selected for the interview.

Whic pulication book refersning rajyaseva mains exam

actually i have just passed 12th science...i tooked admission for bsc .i want to know which books should i take to prepare for MPSC .....
