I am a MCA candidate. Shall I study the Stenography? What is age limit of (stenographer's job) State & Central Govt. jobs? My age is 31 and also I am Backward class. I have completed typing both English & Tamil in Senior Grade.

The lower and upper age limit for stenographer job in government sector;-

For Stenographer grade C - 18 to 30 years For Stenographer grade D - 18 to 27 years

Age limit relaxation is given below:-
SC / ST - 5 years
OBC - 3 years
PWD - (Unreserved) 10 years
PWD - (OBC) 13 years
PWD - (SC/ ST) 15 years
Ex - serviceman (ESM) 3 years.

You can't try for stenographer's job. Because it's Age limit is,
For stenographer Grade C:18-30 years
For stenographer Grade D:18-27 years

The upper and lower age limit for Stenographer job in Government is 18-30 years.

Age Relaxation:- 3 years for Obc and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
