Sir, my date of birth is 3rd April, 1980 and I belong to OBC caste category. Am I eligible to appear for the upcoming Uttar Pradesh State's Lower Division Clerk (LDC) entrance examination? What is the standard age criteria? Any relaxation for OBC caste candidates?

The standard age limit to apply for Lower Division Clerk for most of exams is 18-30 years. In case of OBC and SC/ST candidates, there is upper age relaxations.

For example, OBC candidates get three years upper age relaxation and five years relaxation to SC/ST candidates. You can know your eligibility with the mentioned age limit.

The age limit to apply for Lower Division Clerk examination is:

1. Minimum age limit is 18 years.

2. Maximum age limit is 30 years.

In case of OBC candidates, there is three years upper age relaxation and five years to SC/ST candidates.

The upper and lower age limit for Lower Division Clerk(LDC) is 18-27 years.

Age Relaxation:- 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
