WBJEE : Rank vs Score
There are more than 25000 seats in engineering in West Bengal. Top rated institutions in India like Jadavpur University, BESU Shibpur is situated here. Admission is taken solely based on WBJEE. Moreover, there are 90+ goverment as well as self-financed colleges with excellent infrastructure and good placement record. Only domicile of West Bengal can get admission in Government run institutions. That means only if student or his or her parents are resident of this state for more than 10 years then he or she can get into prestigious institution like Jadavpur. However, let's take a look on rank vs score in WBJEE according to previous year trends

• more than 180 > Top ten
• 160-180 > Top 100
• 140-160 > Top 1000
• 120-140 > 1000 to 2000
• 100-120 > 2000 to 3000
• 70-100 > 3000 to 10000
• 50-70 > 10000 to 20000
• Less than 50 > above 20000

So, if you are expecting to score 90 in Wbjee then your rank will be near about 6000. Hence it is difficult to get government college. But this rank is good enough to get entry in top rated college like Institute of Engineering and Management, Techno India, Hesitatage Institute of Technology etc.
