when is the exam for district collector?how to apply for this

To become the Disrrict collector /IAS/ IPS /IFS you have to appear in the Civil Services examination conducted every year by the UPSC. The examination is among the toughest of the examination and considered as mother of all other examination.

The examination form for the 2015 is available online on the UPSC website www.upsc.gov.in
The examination is conducted in three stages as :-
* Preliminary.
* Mains.
* Interview.
The examination for the Preliminary is on 23rd August 2015 and for the Mains in which candidates who qualified in the Preliminary are eligible can seat.

The eligibility for the examination is :-
* Candidates must have graduation degree from a recognised university.
* Candidates age must lie between 21-32 years of the age for the general and relaxation for other category candidates.

There is no limitations on the stream of graduation and selection of optional paper as candidate can choose the optional paper other than the graduation.
Since the examination is very tough as only 1200 candidates qualify finally where as 3-4 lakh candidates apply. So work hard to get success and make your dream come true.
