when is tamilnadu going to conduct the slet exams...please tell me the date

When Slt exam

The Tamil Nadu State Eligibility Test for 2013 will be conducted by the Bharathiar University. You can appear for the Tamil Nadu SET if interested in college lectureship or the Junior Research Fellowship.

Just like most states in India, Tamil Nadu also conducts the State Eligibility Test which is state level exam. The eligibility criteria for all the SET entrance exams is same as the National Eligibility Test which is national level exam conducted by the University Grants Commission.


Eligibility

1. Candidate should be post graduate.

2. Must secure 55 percent or more in PG course.

3. SC/ST need 50 percent to appear for exam.

4. Final year students are allowed to appear.

5. The NET subject should be relevant to your PG degree.

6. There is 28 years age limit for JRF.

7. It is relaxed to 31 years for OBC and 33 years for SC/ST.

8. There is no upper age limit if applying for college lectureship.
