SBI Clerical Exam was conducted in the month of January, 2011. The result of this examination has already been announced.

After that there is notifcation by SBI regarding the recruitment of Clerks.

But as per the unofficial information, it is known that very soon SBI is going to leave a notification for the recruitment of 20000 Clerks.

So, huge requirement is there for SBI as it is going to start number of new branches.

Start preparation for the exam from now itself and be ready in all aspects by the time you appear for SBI Clerk exam.

SBI Clerk Exam Eligibility Criteria:-

~If you are interested to give this exam then you need to be a higher secondary passed out candidate or its equivalent from a recognized institution. You have to get 60% of marks in aggregate.

~If you have a diploma degree then also you can apply. It should be a regular one and its duration should not be less than two years. You have to secure 60% in this case as well.

~After graduation if you choose to apply then you need to get the pass marks just. You can do the graduation in any discipline of your choice.

~The minimum age limit for giving this exam is 18 years. The upper age limit is 28 years. There is age relaxation for the reserved category candidates.

~For SC/ST candidates there is age relaxation of 5 years, for OBC candidates it is 3 years and for physically handicapped candidates it is 10 years.

~Selection procedure is basically based on the written exam which is followed by personal interview session. Final selection is done by considering the marks obtained both in the written exam and personal interview session.

~If you are well versed with class 12 syllabus then you will face little problem while answering the questions. Mainly objective questions will be asked.

~There is negative marking too. For each wrong answer 0.25 marks will be deducted from the original score. So answer every question with lot of caution.
