The last date of submitting the form was 7th february 2011!

The dates have gone by and now you cannot purchase the form from any post office in India. The last dates have gone by and now your form wont be accepted even if you are the Prime Minister's Nephew.

However, there is some light at the end of the tunnel for you.

UPSC has notified on its website that a few candidates were facing trouble while submitting the 'Online application form'.
In view of this, they have taken special measures and extended the dates of submitting the online application form.

Where you may obtain the online application form
You should fill the same and submit it by 23-59 Hrs of 10th February, 2011.
It is your last opportunity, dont miss it!

i think from Delhi it is better to fill up the IES from online. because offline application form are available only in few post office by paying Rs.20 for the application form. but online easily you may submit your form.

but unfortunately for this year you miss the chance for IES examination. because the last date to apply for IES examination was 7th February, 2011. so for this year you can not apply. but obviously try in next year if you fulfill the eligibility criterion. to apply for IES examination online visit the website http://www.upsconline.nic.in. your age should be in between 21 to 30 when you will apply for IES examination.

As the IES exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC)
so you will get the application form of UPSC through Head post office.

So to obtain the application form of IES in Delhi you have to go to the Head post office for the UPSC application form.

IES exams are conducted by UPSC for the enginnering graduates.
The forms are available in the post office or any job centre.
Also, we can get the form by sending a demand draft to the UPSC.

IES exam application forms and how to apply:
Every UPSC application Forms contain an 8-digit form number and hence is unique.\
-- Therefore you should buy the UPSC forms (against cash payment of Rs. 20/-) only from the following Post Offices where UPSC application forms for IES exam are available:

IES exam forms in Delhi:

Delhi GPO, New Delhi, Indra Prastha, Ramesh Nagar, Sarojini Nagar, Lodi Road, Krishna Nagar, Ashok Vihar, Parliament Street, UPSC PO. IES exam forms in

--The UPSC application form for IES exam consists of the application form along with an Information Brochure containing general instructions for filling up the form, an acknowledgement card and an envelope for sending the application. On getting the IES exam form, read the instructions in the Information Brochure and fill up the application form. Affix a postage stamp of Rs.6/- on the Acknowledgement Card. Use only the envelope provided with the UPSC form for sending the application form & the Acknowledgement Card. Also write the name of examination viz. “Indian Engineering Service Examination, 2010/2011″ on top of the envelope. You also need to pay the IES exam fee of Rs. 100.00 (Rupees One hundred only) in the form of a single Central Recruitment Fee stamp (NOT postage stamps) which must be obtained from the post office, with the date stamp of the post office and affixed on the application form in the space provided.

Also to avail extended last date for far-flung areas, send the forms only through ordinary post/speed post and not by courier.
