pls visit www.jnafau.ac.in , an entrance exam for bachelor of design iz goin to commence in d month of august and the applications need to be filled before mid july and there are many colleges which offer the courses without any entrance.

NIFT is the premier designing institute of India.Nift conducts all India entrance examination to select candidates.

you can apply for NIFT in two ways ...

1.ONLINE mode: you can apply for nift online in their website and take print out of the registration form.money need to be paid by credit

card,debit card,net banking,DD no

2.OFFLINE MODE:you can buy the brochure from the selected IDBI and AXIS bank branches.am attaching a link here which will give the details

Eligibility: all 12+ passed candidates are eligible for nift.there is no marks bar for the entrance examination

NIFT Exam Eligibility Criteria:-

Full form of NIFT and if you want to pursue the undergraduate and post graduate programme in Fashion then you can apply for this exam. There are a list of courses to apply like B.Des, B.FTech etc. On scoring good marks you will end up being in any one of the NIFT centre in India.

Educational Qualification for B.Des:-

You need to have any one of the following qualification for this programme:-

• You need to to pass higher secondary examination or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
  
• You need to be a diploma holder whose duration should not be less than three or four years.

Age Criteria for B.Des:-

Upper Age Limit:- 23 years

This program consists of the following stages which needs to be crossed:-

1. General Ability Test (GAT)
2. Creative Ability Test (CAT)

Educational Qualification for B.FTech:-

• You need to have any one of the following qualification for this programme:-
  
• You need to to pass higher secondary examination or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
  
• You should have physics, chemistry and maths as compulsory subject at 10+2 level.
  
• You need to be a diploma holder and it should be done from an institution AICTE or a State Board of Technical Education.

Age Criteria for B.FTech:-

Upper Age Limit:- 23 years

This program consists of the following stages which needs to be crossed:-

• General Ability Test (GAT)
• Managerial Ability Test (MAT)

For GAT you need to give more importance to these areas:- Quantitative Ability, Communication Ability, English Comprehension, Analytical Ability, Business Domain Test and Thematic Apperception Test.

The Syllabus At A Glance:-

Quantitative Ability:- This section will consist of questions from Addition, Multiplication, Division, Fractions, Percentage, Rate of Interest, Work and Task, Ratio and Proportion, Distance, Profit & Loss, Algebra and Geometry etc. of the level of matriculation.

Communication Ability:- This section will contain questions from Synonyms, Antonymous, Words with corresponding meanings,Singular, Plurals, One word Substitutes, Idioms and Phrases, Correct spellings etc.

English Comprehension:- This test is aimed at finding out how apt you are in comprehending a situation from a passage.

Analytical Ability:- From a given information how well you extract information and logic, it tests that.

Business Domain Test:- This section tests your knowledge about Fashion Industry, Designers, Knowledge of the field of Art & Culture.

Thematic Apperception Test:- How you react to a series of images, this test judges that.
