Whether born in Kerala but brought up in Tamil Nadu candidates is eligible for TNPSC exam or not?

Hi Sir/Madam, I'm born in Kerala, but I'm brought up in Tamil Nadu. I did my schooling (SSLC, HSC - State Board - Tamil Medium) in Tamil Nadu. My all identity proofs and community certificate (Hindu - Backward Class) issued by Tamil Nadu Govt but my birth certificate issued by Kerala Govt. When I'm applying for TNPSC Exams they are asking Birth Place so I filled up in Kerala. My father born in Tamil Nadu but I don't have proof for that because he is born at the year of 1960. So, what you suggest in this scenario? Further, which caste category I belongs to? BC Category or General Category?

Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
