Hi, I used whitener on OMR sheet to make correction on selecting the answer option. Is it okay? Is it allowed? Or, will my OMR sheet get rejected? Or, only that particular answer option will be cancelled?

The use is whitener is not allowed in any competitive or college entrance examination. The Optical mark recognition(OMR) is for capturing the data from document forms such as surveys and tests mentioned by any human being. They are used to read multiple choice examination paper in the form of lines or shaded areas or reading the questionnaires and is fully computerized automated process. If you use whitener in on the Optical mark recognition(OMR) then it will show an error and will consider as invalid.


To avid any error and disqualification from any competitive examination . It is better not to use whitener.
