what can be the best answer to the question why an IT professional aspires civil service

Everyone likes the thing which they dont have.

It is not only about IT, but in recent years it is seen that IAS with B.Tech degree are increasing.

It can be due to that because we decide jobs acc. to money & the Post not from our Capabilities.

It is true IT persons aspires for it but only few are able to make it.
main reason for it can be impression that a designation of IAS makes on others.

It is only in india that engg. can become IAS, Countries like France do not allow it.

Dear friend,

Civil Services are one of the most prestigious services in the Govt sector in India. Graduate candidates in general subject courses or engineering courses can apply for this exam.

People choose to go for this career because of permanent job security, fame and responsibility towards Govt services.

After completing graduation in any stream of engineering from a recognized university, a student can apply for civil service exams like IAS(Indian Administrative Services)/IES (Indian Engineering Services)etc.

Candidates from different engineering streams other than only IT like Electrical,Electronics,Civil etc. also aspire to get into this civil service field.

And the main reason lies in the fact that this is a purely central Govt service sector, so people will obviously dream of that Govt job position!

First of all Every one who completes their studies will have an dream to get a top package ..

with new things

new salary..

new bank account...

new articles..,like cars cellphones..


everything will be fine...

everything will be fine for only few years ...afterwards days will

be numb

they will be boring

no job satisfaction..

the heart says you to leave the job but your ego will stop you but

some will dare

some will write civils and change their life's and life styles with

new respect in society..

recognisation as an IAS officer where ever you go

with new job satisfaction..

and all..

Everyone are like to join in the civil service exam.
Because , it is govt.oriented that too it is very prestigious designation.
So, all will like this position.

So, not only IT peoples,it is liked by most of the peoples in India.

IT professional who go on for IAS after few year od job because they get to a position to take decission.Being an ias would be a firsy forseen dream for them but money and status after btexh allures and family pressure make to them to go for that but after some time that feeling to go for their dream make them to apply for ias . this is what i think personally :)

professnal is very imp in civil eng..but why...
