you have come out with flying colors in you HSCexam with 198 cut off .Yes you can pursue MBBS seat with a cutoff of 198 in Coimbatore Medical College:

If you belong to MBC/SC/ST quota,your chance of getting MBBS seat is 100%
If you belong to BC quota,your chance of getting MBBS seat is 98%
If you belong to OC quota,your chance of getting MBBS seat is 90%

Dear Friend,

* If you belong to OC, it is not really possible to secure a seat.

* On the other hand, if you belong to BC, MBC, SC or ST, you have high chances of securing a seat in the same.
