—> SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs, BCMs and DWs of all Castes :- Minimum 18 years and no maximum age limit.

—> Others:- 18 to 30 years. Upper age relaxation is applicable to PWD and Ex-servicemen candidates.

At present, there are no Junior Epigraphist vacancies available in the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC). Age limit to apply for the TNPSC Junior Epigraphist recruitment were given below:

Minimum age limit – 18 years (should have completed)

Maximum age limit:

For SCs, SC (A)s, STs, MBCs / DCs, BCs, BCMs and DW of all castes – No Maximum age limit

For others – 30 years (should not have completed)

Minimum age required to apply for TNPSC exam is 18 years and maximum should not exceed 30 years however relaxation in upper age limit is provided to reserved category students.

Age limit to apply for TNPSC Junior Epigraphist recruitment:-

The mniimum age required to apply for the post of Junior Epigraphist recruitment is 18 years an the maximum age limit is 30 years. However, there is no age limit for the candidates of the reserved categories.


The examination would be conducted in two parts 1) It would be of the undergraduate level of Tamil Language and Literature.

2)Second would be of General Studies and Aptitude and Mental Ability Test.
