Scheme of examination is as follows,
* Paper 1 - 200 questions (UG Degree standard) - 300 marks - duration - 3 hours

* Paper 2 - General Studies - 100 Questions - 2 hours - 200 Marks

* Paper 3 - Interview and Records - 70 Marks

The selection of candidates for the post of TNPSC Junior Epigraphist recruitment will be done in two stages namely written examination and oral test in the form of an interview. Final selection of candidates will be done based on the merit of the marks obtained in the written examination and interview.

At present, there are no Junior Epigraphist vacancies available in the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC). Candidates selected for the TNPSC Junior Epigraphist recruitment through Written Examination and Oral Test in the form of Interview. Written Examination consists of Paper I and II. Appearance in both the papers of the Written Examination and Oral Test was compulsory. Candidates were selected on the basis of total marks obtained in the Written Examination and Oral Test.
