Age limit for OBC candidates in Central Government Jobs.

I wish to get good relaxation to be in OBC category.

The minimum age required to apply for Government jobs is 21 years and that of maximum age is 30 years. Upper age relaxation is applicable to reserved category candidates as per government rules as mentioned below :-
--> OBC :- 3 Years
--> SC/ST :- 5 Years

OBC stands for Other Back Ward Caste which is having a relaxation for Government jobs & other facilites .
The eligibility Age limit is 21 - 30 years for normal general candidates.
& For OBC Candidates they are having 5 years relaxation in the age limit.

For OBC candidates upper age limit is relaxed by 3 years in all central government jobs. So, in almost all central government jobs upper age limit of OBC Candidates is 33 years.

In most of the central government jobs 3 years age relaxation is given for the OBC Candidates and 5 years age relaxation for SC/ST.
In railways obc are eligible upto 33 years.
For bank jobs also upto 33years.
For ias it is upto 35 years.
For teaching jobs it is 42 years.

The age limit for the central government jobs are different for different secotr. Some of them are given below :

* NDA - 16.5-19 years with no upper age relaxation.

* CDS - 19-25 years with no upper age relaxation.

* Railway job - 18-30 years.

* Civil service exam - 21-30 years.

* Bank clerical exam - 18-28 years.

* Bank P.O exam - 21-30 years.

* IAS - 21-30 years.

* IPS - 21-35 years.

* SSC CGL - 21-27 years.

For some organizations, the age relaxation of 3 years are applicable for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates are applicable.

There so many central government jobs in India. So every jobs have different jobs criteria. But the minimum age criteria is 21 years and maximum age criteria is 30 years.

Age relaxation is provided for reserved category candidates.

SC/ST ==> 5 years .
OBC ==> 3 years .
PWD ==> 10 years .
Ex-Servicemen ==> 5 years .
Widows ==> 9 years .

Age limit for central govt. jobs.

The minimum age for central govt jobs is 21 years and maximum age is 30 years.

There is age relaxation for govt. jobs as per indian govt. norm

General category 21 to 30 years

For OBC category 21 to 33 years here there is a 3 years age relaxation for OBC category candidates.

For SC/ST category 21 to 35 years here there is a 5 years age relaxation for SC/ST category candidates.

Age relaxation for the OBC Category Candidates are same for all the government jobs. Below I have mentioned the age stipulation for all the category.

1.General Category:- Minimum age is 21 years & Maximum age is 30 years.

2. SC/ST Category:- There is a age relaxation of 5 years. Means a candidate is eligible to apply till the age of 35 years.

3.OBC Category:- There is a age relaxation of 3 years. Means a candidate is eligible to apply till the age of 33 years.

4. Person With Disability SC/ST Category- There is a age relaxation of 15 years. Means a candidate is eligible to apply till the age of 45 years.

5.Person With Disability OBC Category- There is a age relaxation of 13 years. Means a candidate is eligible to apply till the age of 43 years.

6.Person With Disability General Category- There is a age relaxation of 10 years. Means a candidate is eligible to apply till the age of 40 years.

What is the upper age limit for OBCs in central government group D post

If the candidate qualification is higher than the post needed qualification for example degree is the qualification for the job. The candidate finished post graduate means age limit will change or not

For applying in any government exam age limit is different for different exam on general age limit for government exam general category is up to 30 years.

3 years age relaxation for OBC category.
5 year age relaxation for ST/SC

For applying Government jobs Candidate should be minimum age of 21 years old and maximum age 28 or 30 .
OBC candidates age relaxation is 3 years.
