Re: Age limit for writing PSC exam?
P.S.C ---- Public Service Commission
Through out the year each state Public service commission conducts various examinations for all the various job opportunities.Various good number of Posts will be Released by the Public Service Commission. The eligibility for the Public Service commission is as follows, the minimum educational qualification is a minimum of Graduation from a recognized university. Or else for some job posts only Diploma qualification is needed. So there is a chance for the diploma candidates to apply for the Examination which are conducted by the Public Service Commission. The minimum age to be eligible for the post is not less than 18 years. And the upper age limit must not exceed 33 years. There is no age relaxation for General Candidates. Of course there is an age relaxation for the reserved candidates such as ST/SC and OBC categories.Age relaxation would also be available for Ex-Serviceman as well as for the Physically handicapped candidates. The selection process of this PSC consists of Written Test followed by an Interview. The number of attempts allowed for the General candidates is only 3 and only 4 for OBC candidates and no limit for the candidates belonging to SC/ST category. So as your age is about 38 years,it would be some what difficult to pass the eligibility criteria. The eligibility whether you can apply for ,or not apply for the examination generally depends on the category of you.So you are eligible only if you belong to the SC/ST Category ,because there is an age relaxation of 5 years. |

Re: Age limit for writing PSC exam?
You should have minimum qualification of graduation from a recognized university. As per your age you are not eligible for the PSC exams. Try for some other exam which you can apply for.
