I ve done BCA from ignou and ve also done B.Ed from ccs university with maths and science subject.

Am I eligible for maths teacher or not

After completing your Graduation, you have to appear in CTET or TET exam and have to qualify for the exam to get eligible for the faculty in Delhi government school.

The eligibility to become a Mathematics teacher in Delhi Government School you need to clear DSSSB(Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board) teacher recruitment examination. The eligibility is based on parameters like Nationality, Age Limit, and Educational qualification. The educational qualification required for TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher) a candidate must have passed a bachelor's degree in the relevant subject along with a degree/diploma in training education. The candidate should have passed CTET examination. The upper age limit should be below 32 years.

The eligibility for Assistant Teacher Primary a candidate must have passed 10+2 with a minimum score of 50% marks from a recognized board and 2 years diploma in primary education/certificate course in ETE/JBT/DIET/BEIEd. The candidate's age should not exceed 30 years.

Yes,why not you can become a teacher,after doing BCA from IGNOU , because IGNOU degree is valid and it's approved by AICTE.

Once the candidates have cleared the exams of TET /CTET , they become eligible to apply for job openings in various Government schools.
