I.P.S is Indian Police Service. You are in the final year of your bachelor degree. Civil Service examination is conducted by UPSC. The examination is conducted in three stages.

You must start preparation for the examination by reading the basic and standard books which are compulsory such as :-

NCERT (6th -12th )
LAXMIKANTH - Indian Polity.
Modern History - Spectrum.
Daily Newspaper ( Editorial ).
Indian Economy - Rakesh Singh.

The above list are the most compulsory books to be read. If you are having interest in B.Com or any other paper then you can choose optional paper according to it.
