I am a student of DU i want to prepare Civil service JPSC CBI and CDS i ma little confused which book i have to study so that I'm capable of what i want so please give direction

If you are determined to appear and qualify in the examination then for that you need to have dedication, devotion towards your studies.

The syllabus for all the examination is not same and it varies so, I will suggest you to at first pay attention to any specific examination and later after qualifying in it prepare for the other examination.

The syllabus for all the above mentioned examination is different and so a single strategy will not help you in clearing all the examination.

But one thing is very much sure that reading of NCERT text books is compulsory to appear and qualify in all the stages of examination.

Which book to study for Civil services, JPSC, CBI and CDS?

1. The Discovery of India
Jawaharlal Nehru, 1946.

2. Bharat Ki Rajvyavastha
M. Laxmikanth,

3. Indian Polity
M. Laxmikanth, 2013,

4. Indian Art and Culture
Nitin Singhania, 2015,

5. India's Struggle for Independence
Bipan Chandra, 1988.

Books for JPSC preparation:-

1) Modern History – Bipin Chandra.
2) Geography – Majid Hussain.
3) Economy – Ramesh Singh.
4) Indian Polity – Laxmikanth.
5) India Year Book etc.

You must have to read NCERT books of std 6th -12th of general science and general studies.

Other than that you can read current affairs and examination like CDS and CBI you need to practice Mathematics of std 9th and std 10th.

English is also required in CDS and CBI examination. For that Lucent English Grammar is sufficient.
