Hello everyone, I have done with my MA in English Honours course. I want to apply in Haryana SSC Librarian recruitment. I am interested to join through Haryana SSC as a Librarian. Please tell me that can I apply in this recruitment or not?

The first thing I would like to let you know is that the basic qualifications required to apply for the post of Librarian through Haryana SSC are as below :-

* Your age must lie within 17 years to 42 years. Age relaxation is applicable for candidates belonging to reserved category as per the norms.

* You must have completed your Bachelor of Library Science degree course from a recognized university. Also, you must have pursued Mathematics/Sanskrit upto your Class 10th.

* You must have two years work experience as a Junior Librarian in any reputed Institute.

So, being a Master's degree holder in English. you are eligible for Haryana SSC Librarian recruitment, if you satisfy the above eligibility criteria otherwise not.

Requirements criteria for the HSSC Librarian posts,

(i) Bachelor degree in Library Science from a recognized university
(ii) Two years experience as a Junior Librarian in any reputed Institute
(iii) Hindi / Sanskrit up to matric standard or higher education
(iv) Age limit for the post is 17 years to 42 years.

Being a post graduate you can apply for librarian post but provided you must have completed bachelor of library science from the recognized university.

And also you must have a working experience of 2 years as junior librarian..

Age should be in between these limits.

Minimum age is 17 years

Maximum age is 42 years.

In this you have to fulfill all the requirements which are mentioned above . There by you can satisfy with the eligibility criteria.
