Can I get Government job in Police department after B.A in history through distance education from Alagappa University?
i have completed in12th standard but i like to go govt jobs in police department so i take step to study b.a.(history) in distance education-alagappa university. the b.a.(history) course is eligible in police officer and which degree i'll select to study for jobs

The candidate can write the AP SI exam to get into the police department and pursue his career as Police officer.
ELIGIBILITY : * Candidates age should range between 21-25 years. * Age relaxation is applicable as per norms. * The candidate must hold a degree from any university or Institution recognized by University of Grants Commission. PHYSICAL STANDARDS : * Height - 167.6 cms. * Chest - 86.3 cms. * Visual standards - 6/6 for right eye and 6/6 left eye. * Candidates should be physically fit and free from any bodily defect or infirmity. |

IPS stands for Indian Police Service. IPS exam is conducted by UPSC through civil service exam.
