Can i get selected in SSB with -7.5 eyesight?

For your kind of Information i give eye sight requirements in SSB as given.

• For Indian Air Force- -0.75D without myopia
• For Indian Navy- -0.75D
• For Indian Army- -2.5D
  
• Colour Vision Standard should be CP-III
• Uncorrected without glass – 6/12
• Corrected with glass – 6/6
• Limits of Myopia – 3.5
• Limits of Hypermetropia – +2.5
• Binocular vision III
• Distant vision 6/6, 6/9 correctable to 6/6.
• Near vision N-5 each eye

1. Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must pass in class 12th from any recognized board with relevant discipline.

2. Age Limit:

18-25 Years

3. Selection Process-

The candidates are selected on the basis of the written exam and also Interview.
The candidates in the beginning have to appear for the written exam.

No, you are not eligible for SSB entrance exam.

Eye sight for Indian Army =

Uncorrected without glass – 6/12
Corrected with glass – 6/6
Limits of Myopia – 3.5

Limits of Colour Perception I

Eye sight for Indian Navy =

Uncorrected without glass: 6/6
Corrected with glass: 6/6
Limits of Myopia: -0.75
Limits of Hypermetropia: +1.5
Limits of Colour Perception: I
Binocular Vision: III

Eye sight for Indian Air force =

Minimum distant vision 6/6 in one eye and 6/9 in other
Correctable to 6/6 only for Hypermetropia
Colour vision CP-I
Hypermetropia = + 2.0 D Sph
Manifest Myopia = Nil

Recently I got my call from SSB .Despite of having 6/6 with glass , I have -3.75 in one eye(permissible being -3.5) . Should I go for SSB , bcoz it may lead to rejection ?
