Eligibility to appear in IAS Preliminary Exam for B.E.(CSE) final year student?


Respected Sir/Madam,
is BE final year cse students
can attend IAS preliminary exam????
please let me know as soon as possible

IAS stands for Indian Administrative Services. The IAS examination is conducted by UPSC every year for the recruitment of IAS officers. Eligibility criteria required to appear in IAS examination is mentioned below :-

1. You must be a citizen of India.

2. You must have completed Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any discipline from a recognised university.

3. You must be in between 21-30 years old. Upper age relaxation is applicable to reserved category candidates as per government rules.

4. You must be Physically and Mentally fit.

By satisfying the above mentioned eligibility criteria, you can appear in IAS examination.

Selection Procedure :-
--> Preliminary Examination
--> Mains Examination
--> Personal Interview

Yes, you can attempt prelims this year. As final year appearing students are allowed to appear for this exam, but you should have completed your course by the time interview process starts.

Application forms will be available in March/April, exam will be conducted in last week of August. Notification will be published in employment news, all national dailies and upsc website.

Yes, you are eligible for IAS exam.

IAS stands for Indian Administrative Services. IAS exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission. IAS exam is conducted one time in a year.

If you have completed graduation in any discipline from a recognized university then you are eligible for IAS exam.

Age Criteria:

For General: 21 to 30 years
For OBC: 21 to 33 years
For SC/ST: 21 to 35 years

No. of Attempts:

For General: 3
For OBC: 7
For SC/ST: No Restriction

Selection process for IAS exam:

1)Preliminary test
2)Mains exam
3)Personal interview

Yes any Graduate from any stream can appear for IAS examination. All you have to take care is that you have to complete your Graduation degree from a recognized University. UPSC conducts Civil Services Exam every year and IAS officers are recruited through this exam. You can surely apply for this exam without any worries.

There isn't any percentage criteria also for this exam and you need to be just a Graduate with pass marks. The selection is purely on merit and you have clear CSAT, Mains and Interview.

Candidates, who have completed their graduation in any stream are only eligible to apply for IAS Preliminary Exam. So, now you are not eligible to apply for IAS Preliminary Exam. You can apply for the IAS Preliminary exam, after the completion of your Graduation.

Eligibility:-
1.A candidate must be a citizen of India.

2.A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years and age relaxation is available for the candidates belonging to SC, ST and backward classes as per reservations

3.A candidate must have completed his/her graduation in a any stream from a recognized institute.

Yes, you can apply for IAS examination being Computer science Graduate.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

* Candidate must be a Citizen of India.

* Candidate must possess a valid Degree from a Recognized University/ Institution or its equivalent.

* Candidate age must be in

1. 21 - 30 years for General Category
2. 21 - 33 years for OBC Category
3. 21 - 35 years for SC & ST category

* Final year Appeared/Appearing students are eligible to apply for the Examination.
