Hi friends, I want to know about the eligibility criteria for applying for the Assistant Mechanical Engineer recruitment of Assam PSC. Can I know about the eligibility for applying in the same? Please help me to know about the eligibility criteria.

Eligibility to apply for the Assam PSC Assistant Mechanical Engineer recruitment 2020:-

> The applicants must possess a degree in the respective branch of engineering from any institute recognised by AICTE.

> Age limit:-
. Minimum age - 21 years
. Maximum age - 38 years
. Age relaxation will be according to the reservation category wise

Eligibility to apply for the Assam PSC Assistant Mechanical Engineer recruitment 2020 are as mentioned below:-
Candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam.

Candidate must produce PRC issued in Assam for educational purpose as a proof of residency along with the application form.

Age limit -
Minimum age limit - 21 years
Maximum age limit - 38 years

Educational qualification -

Under Public Health Engineering Department, Assam -

Candidate must possess a degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognised University by the government or a candidate must have passed Part A and Part B of the Associate Membership Examination of the Institute of Engineers in Mechanical Engineering.

Apart from English, the candidate must have adequate knowledge of at least one official language of the state of Assam i.e Assamese/ Bengali/ Bodo except candidates belonging to Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council and Dima Hasao Autonomous Council.

Under Irrigation Department -

Candidate must possess a degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognised University by the government or a candidate must have passed Part A and Part B of the Associate Membership Examination of the Institute of Engineers in Mechanical Engineering.

The eligibility to apply for the Assam PSC Assistant Mechanical Engineer recruitment 2020 is a candidate must have passed degree in the relevant Engineering from a recognized university. The candidate minimum age should be 21 years and the maximum age should be 38 years as on 1st January 2020.

The last date to apply for this vacancy is on 22nd September 2020 and the application fee for a General/EWS candidate it is Rs.250 and for SC/ST/OBC/MOBC it is Rs.150 and for BPL candidate there is no fees. I am also giving you the website link for your reference that is www.apsc.nic.in

1. Degree in Mechanical branch of Engineering from any Institute recognized by AICTE
2. Degree from distance mode of education is not applicable.
3.You must be a permanent resident of Assam.
4. You must have PRC issued in Assam for educational purpose as a residential proof and have registration certificate of Employment Exchange in the State of Assam along with the application form.

Age limit-
Minimum- 21 years
Maximum- 38 years as on 01.01.2020. It is relaxed as per government rules and norms criteria.

Eligibility criteria required to apply for Assam PSC (Public Service Commission) Assistant Mechanical Engineer recruitment 2020 is Candidate must have passed Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an Indian or foreign University recognized by Government. Candidate age must lie between 21 to 38 years. Upper age relaxation are available for reserved category candidates.

The eligibility criteria to apply for post of Assistant Engineer for Mechanical Engineering stream:

>>Candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam.

>>Academic qualification required is Bachelor of Technology from a recognized institute approved by AICTE or those who have passed Part A and B of AMIE can also apply for this recruitment.

Distance bachelor's degree will not be accepted for this recruitment.
