Respected Sir/Madam, can I know about the exemptions which are available for the Assistant Mechanical Engineers recruitment under Assam PSC? I belong to a reserved category so please tell me about the exemptions available for me. I would also like to know about the pay scale allotted for this particular post?

Exemptions available in upper age limit under Assam PSC Assiatnt Mechanical Engineer recruitment 2020 for reserved candidates are as mentioned below:-
OBC/MOBC - 03 years
SC/ST - 05 years
PWD - 10 years

Pay scale allotted to Assistant Mechanical Engineer under Assam PSC are as - Rs. 30,000/- to Rs. 1,10,000/- along with grade pay of Rs. 12,700/- plus other allowances as admissible under rules of the Government of Assam.

Exemptions available under Assam PSC Assistant Mechanical Engineer recruitment 2020 for reserved candidates and Pay scale allotted to Assistant Mechanical Engineers:-

Age relaxation will be according to the reservation category wise and will apply as per the state government norms.

Application fee for SC/ ST category candidates - 150/-.

Pay Scale:-
Rs. 30,000/- to 1,10,000/- P.B with grade pay of Rs. 12,700/- + other allowances as admissible under rules of the government of
Assam.

For OBC/MOBC - 21 to 41 years.
For PWD - 21 to 48 years.

Yes you will get upper age relaxation of 5 years . Your upper age would be 43 years as on 1/1/2020.
