Hello friends, please provide me the details of eligibility criteria for Jammu & Kashmir PSC recruitment of for the post of Veterinary Assistant Surgeon. I want to apply in this recruitment. It would be grateful if you let me know about the eligibility criteria.

Eligibility to apply for Jammu & Kashmir PSC Veterinary Assistant Surgeons recruitment is mentioned below:-

—> Educational Qualification:-
You should have passed Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry from a recognised college/ university.

—> Age Limit :-
18 to 40 years. Upper age relaxation is applicable to reserved category candidates as per government rules.

Eligibility to apply for Jammu & Kashmir PSC Veterinary Assistant Surgeon recruitment are as follows.

1. Candidate must be a permanent resident of J&K State.
2. Candidate must hold a Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Sciences & Animal Husbandry from a recognized University or Institute.

Age of the candidates should be in between 18 years to 40 years as on 1st January 2018. Relaxations in upper age limit for reserved category candidates as per the rules & regulations mentioned in the official JKPSC VAS Notification 2019 are as follows.

SC/ST/RBA/ALC/SLC: 3 years
PH: 2 years
Ex-Servicemen: 8 years
