Respected Sir/Madam, I am looking forward to apply in JKPSC Medical Officer recruitment. I just want to know about the eligibility criteria for me to apply in this recruitment. Can I know about the eligibility criteria as soon as possible?

>> You must have completed MBBS or Possession of recognized Graduate Medical Qualification that is included in the 1st or 2nd schedule or part II of the 3rd schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.

>> Minimum age required is 18 years and maximum age should not exceed 40 years. Of course there will be relaxation for reserved category candidates,
For Physically challenged candidates - maximum 42 years
For Ex-Servicemen - 48 years
For RBA/ SC/ ST/ ALC or SLC category candidates - 43 years

Eligibility to apply for JKPSC Medical Officer recruitment are:

Candidates must hold a MBBS degree or possess Graduate Medical qualification from any recognized university included in the 1st or 2nd schedule or part-II of the 3rd*Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 to be eligible.

Age limit (as on 1st January 2018):
Minimum: 18 years
Maximum/In service: 40 years
PH candidates: 42 years
SC/ST/ALC SLC/RBA categories: 43 years
Ex-Servicemen: 48 years

--> The eligibility criteria required for JKPSC Medical Officer recruitment (as per its official notification) are as below :-

* Educational qualification :- MBBS or Possession of recognized Graduate Medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part-II of the 3rd schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act 1956. Holders of education qualification included in part-II of the 3rd schedule should fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section (3) of section (13) of the Indian Medical Council Act 1956.

* Age criteria ( as on 01.01.2018 ) :- 18 years to 40 years for general category candidates. Age relaxation is allowed for reserved category candidates as per the government norms.

Eligibility criteria to apply for Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission:

Candidates should pass MBBS form recognized by MCI.

Age limit: 18 to 40 years.
