Dear friends, I am interested to apply for UPSC National Defence Academy Exam 2019. I would like to know about the eligibility criteria for applying in this exam this year. Can you please let me know about the eligibility criteria asap? Waiting for your response!

Eligibility Criteria required to apply for UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) National Defense Academy Exam 2019 is:

For Indian Army: Candidate must have 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education.

For Indian Air Force and Indian Navy: Candidate must have 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education with Physics and Mathematics.

Eligibility to apply for UPSC National Defence Academy :

1.You must be a citizen of India, Nepal or Bhutan.

2.you should have completed 12th from the recognized board with good percentage of marks.

3.For airforce and navy streams you must complete 12th with physics and maths from the recognized board.

4.maximum age is 19 years

5.minimum age is 16 years.

The minimum eligibility criteria required to apply for NDA ( National Defense Academy ) II entrance examination 2019 are as below :-

* You must be an unmarried Indian male citizen.

* Your age must lie within 16.5 years to 19.5 years as on 01.07.2020.

* You must have completed your Class 12th in any discipline from a recognized board of education. Further, to be eligible for joining Indian Navy or Indian Air force wing of NDA, you are required to have pursued Mathematics and Physics as main subject at your Class 12th level.

* You must hold the physical fitness as per the service standards.

NDA examination is conducted by UPSC. It is conducted for recruitment in defence service.

The eligibility to appear in the examination is that candidate must have passed or pursuing in std 12th from a recongised board.

Candidate's born between 02nd January 2001 and January 1st 2004 are eligible to appear in the examination.

Examination is conducted in two stages.

There is no minimum required aggregate in 12th to appear in the examination.

—> You should have passed 12th standard or an equivalent examination from a recognised board.

—> You should be an unmarried male candidate.

—> You should be in the age range of 16.5 to 19.5 years.

—> You should be physically as well as mentally fit.

UPSC National Defence Academy Exam 2019:

** Eligibility Criteria:-

>> Educational Qualification:-

For Army Wing of National Defence Academy:- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy:- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

>> Age Limit:-

Minimum Age:- 15.7 years (not later than 1st January, 2004)/ 16 years during the commencement of course.

Maximum Age:- 18.7 years (not earlier than 2nd January, 2001)/ 19 years during the commencement of course.

** Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply for this exam.

** Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class examination can also apply for this examination.

~~ For Air Force or Naval wings:

Candidates must have passed 12th class with Physics and Mathematics as subjects or cleared equivalent examination of the State board to be eligible for NDA 2019.

Candidates who are appearing in 12th class or equivalent examination of the State board are also also eligible for NDA 2019.

~~ Age Limit:

Candidates should have born between 2nd January 2001 to 1st January 2004.

UPSC conduct National Defence Academy Exam twice in a year.

Eligibility criteria -

Candidate's nationality should be Indian.
Only unmarried male candidates are eligible.
Candidates who are appearing in 12th class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination are eligible for the exam.

Age limit should be from 16 to 19 years.
