Hi, I am in a hurry right now,I really want to know about the eligibility criteria for applying in Cochin Shipyard Limited Project Officer recruitment. I don’t know much more about the eligibility of this particular recruitment. Kindly tell me the age limit as well.

The required eligibility criteria and age limit to apply for Cochin Shipyard Limited Project Officer recruitment is given below.

** The candidate should have passed degree in Mechanical/ Electrical/Instrumentation /Civil Engineering from a recognized university.

** The minimum percentage required in the degree course to apply for Cochin Shipyard Limited Project Officer recruitment is 60%.

** The age of the candidate should not be greater than 30 years. 3 years age relaxation is given to OBC category candidate.

To apply for Cochin Shipyard Limited Project Officer recruitment, candidates should have completed their B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Civil/Instrumentation Engineering with minimum 60% of marks from a recognized college/University. Candidates who also have completed their B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science/Information Technology or Masters Degree in Computer Science/Computer Application/Information Technology with minimum 60% of marks from a recognized college/university are eligible to apply. Candidates must have minimum 2 years post qualification experience in the relevant field. The age of the candidate should be not exceed 30 years and age relaxation will be applicable as per government norms.

Aspirant should have minimum of two years post qualification experience/ training in a Shipyard/ Port/ Marine Engineering Training Institute/ Heavy Engineering Company.
Proficiency and experience of working in a computerised environment would be an added advantage.

Aspirant should not exceed 30 years of age as on 24/04/2019.
ST/SC, OBC (Non Creamy Layer) and PwD candidates can get 5 years, 3 years and 10 years of age relaxation in upper age limit respectively.
