Physical criteria for SI post for UP Police:-

Minimum Physical Standard:

i) For Male Candidates:
Height-1.67 mtrs.
Weight-51.5 Kgs
Chest-79 cms with a minimum expansion of 5 cms

ii) For Female Candidates:-
Height-1.60 mtrs.
Weight- 45 Kgs

iii) Vision :

Eye-sight ( with or without glasses )
Distant vision : 6/6 in one and 6/9 in the other eye.
Near vision 0.6 in one eye and 0.8 in other eye.

The physical standards for the post of Sub inspector is given below :

For Boys :

* Candidates height should be at least 167 cms.

* Candidates chest should not be less than 86 cms round the chest on full inspiration.

For Girls :

* Candidates height should be at least 157.5 cms.

* Candidates weight should not be less than 47 kgs.

VISION :

* Candidates eye sight should be 6/6 in right eye and 6/9 in right eye.

* The minimum distant vision should 6/9 of two eyes without correction.

Eye sight standards for Sub Inspector post in UP Police :

• Minimum distant vision should be 6/6 and 6/9 of both eyes without glasses.
• Candidate must not have squint in eyes.

Is glasses permitted for jharkhand S.I. my eye vision vision is 6/6 with glass but without glass is 6/9 .Can I eligible this post or not? Plz tell...Thanks

Am i eligible for uttar pradesh police at rank of SI my eye vision is 6/6 but with glasses it is 6/36 without glasses.
