Good afternoon sir, I am Sagar Rathod, can i join indian army after completing of dpiloma in automobile engg.? I'll be 20 years old in july, can i join after 20 years old in indian army?

To become an Indian Army Soldier , candidates must have a graduation degree in Science or equivalent from a recognized university.

Candidates age should be between 16 to 19 years.

Candidates have to take the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized university.

How can I become an Indian Army soldier at the age of 20 years?

1. For the post of Soldier GD, the candidate should have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 33% marks or equivalent. For the post of Soldier Technical.

2. You should have passed 10+2 with Science background (PCM), with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent.

For joining Indian Army , you can have any level of education from class 8 to PG . You can study any subject in class 10 , 12 and graduation or postgraduation.

The age limit for intermediate entry scheme is 16.5 to 19.5

For graduate entry scheme the age limit is 19 to 24 years

For graduate non UPSC the age limit is 21 to 27 years.

Thus you can join graduate entry scheme.
