Sir,
I am Shailendra and I am doing B.Tech in ECE 3rd year. I want to join Indian Railway. What sort of things I have to do, further my father is a Railway employee.

You are doing B.Tech in ECE department. As you want to get the job in Railway sector. Following are the exams through which you have a chance to get the job in Railway sector:

--RAILWAY JE (Junior Engineer)

--RAILWAY SSE (Senior Section Engineer)

**Since the selection process of both of above mentioned exam is only written exam. It means if you score good marks in their exams then you will definitely get the job if you qualify in the medical examination.

Following are the preparation tips for the exam:

--go through your core subjects very well.

--also know the Railway G.K too such as different Railway zone headquarters.

--also have aware about the current affairs going on.

**The written exam is not too much tough. The thing is since there is not any interview for the selection so the cut off is very high.
