For the material science degree holder or any graduate degree holder the defence forces have two types of the recruitments.

Short service commission

Shortly known as the SSC is a pure interview based selection process in which the candidate have to live at the interview premises.

This is a fully residential interview in which you are observed for your living styles and knowledge , general aptitute and various types of work assignments .

Once selected you can get promoted to the permanent commission .

The SSC is for 15 years of the service.
