Salary structure of Primary School Teachers in Tamil Nadu :

Basic Salary Pay scale : Rs.5200-20200/-
Grade Pay : Rs.2800/-

The salary will increase as per experience.
This salary scale is applied for those teachers who qualified TET exams.

-> For Govt. teacher, clear a teacher eligibility test which is conducted by various states:

like HTET, UPTET, PSTET...

-> After cleared this exam, you should eligible for govt. teacher in that state where you should give the interview.

-> Pay scale is different for PGT, TGT, JBT.

For PGT (Post graduate teacher)

-> In various states: 9300-34800 + grade pay 4800.

-> In Punjab : 10300-34800 + 4800

For TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher)

-> In Various states: 9300-34800+ 4600

-> In Punjab: 10300-34800+4600

-> For JBT-PRT teacher pay scale:

-> Salary range: 22000-35000

-> In tamil Nadu: 5200 -20200+ 2800

-> Punjab: 10200-34800+4000
-> Delhi: 9300-34800+ 4200

But we are hopeful that after the announcement of 7th Pay commission it may increase drastically.
