Sir, I have clear both X and Y group and my name is in main list of both.Y group call later come and show standby. What should I do whether to go for enrollment or otherwise wait for X group call later? My preference is to join X group.

The group X is for technical trades and Y is for non technical trades in Indian Air Force Airmen. The candidates should have passed 10+2 with PCM subjects with a minimum of 50% marks or 3 years diploma in engineering with 50% marks are eligible for the posts. The candidates should be unmarried for the above posts. If you are interested in taking technical post then you can choose group X or otherwise you can take group Y. In technical post (group X) the job is related to technical and in non technical (group Y) the job is not related to technical.

Group X is better than Group Y trade because it is a technical trade with better salary. You still don't have any confirmation about selection, means you don't have a choice at the moment.

Take whatever is coming your way. Both are government jobs and will be good for future. Still, Group X is the preferred job.
