Respected Sir, I want to prepare for UPSC exams. I have completed my BSc with Mathematics. So, can you please let me know about the recruitment which is available for me in UPSC? Waiting for your reply.

There are some exams conducted by UPSC board for candidates who have graduated in various fields including mathematics so please read below :

>> UPSC - CDS - Combined Defence Service Examination : This examination is conducted twice a year by UPSC board for candidates who are interested to join Indian Army, Indian Navy and Indian Air Force at early age or young age.

Indian Army : A bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university and only male candidates are allowed to apply.

Indian Naval Academy : A candidate who have bachelor's degree in engineering either BE or B.Tech is eligible to apply for this recruitment.

Indian Air Force : A candidate who have completed graduation with mathematics and physics as compulsory subject is eligible to apply.

So if you have completed B.Sc in mathematics then you are eligible to apply for UPSC CDS examination.

UPSC Civil Service Examination : A bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university is enough to apply for this exam and minimum age of the candidate should be 21 years and maximum age should be 32 years.

Relaxation in upper age as per government rules which is 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC category candidates.

UPSC also conduct other examination but not on regular basis so you should visit at the official website of this board and find more details about latest recruitment and if you are eligible as per requirement then apply.

Can M.Sc mathematics Candidate apply for the post of Iss or jes of upsc?

Candidates who wish to sit for UPSC Civil Services Exam must hold a graduation degree from any University which has been incorporated by Act of Parliament or which is to be declared as a Deemed University by University Grants Commission or he/she must possess an equivalent qualification for IAS Exam.
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services Mains Exam comprises Mathematics as one of the Optional Subjects with 2 papers (Paper I and Paper II). The IAS Mathematics Optional papers are of 250 marks each with a total of 500 marks. Mains in IAS Exam has 9 papers
