Hi friends, I am little worried about my future. Actually I am interested to apply and get in as a Communication Sub Inspector in Assam Police recruitment. But I don’t know about the selection procedure. Can you help me to know about the selection procedure.

Candidates for the post of Sub Inspector followed in Assam Police Communication recruitment will be through following stages;

1. Written test (OMR based will consist of 100 questions)

2. Documents verification

3. PST (Physical Standard Test) - Candidates who will qualify the written test will be required to appear in the PST.

4. PET (Physical Efficiency Test) - Shortlisted candidates from PST will be asked to appear in PET.

5. Technical Proficiency

6. Extra Curricular Activities

Final merit list of candidates will be prepared with the following manners;

Written examination - 50%
Extra Curricular Activities - 15%
Technical Proficiency - 15%
PET (Physical Efficiency Test) - 20%

Selection process of Assam Police sub inspector communication :

The above PST/PET ,any one only will be conducted.

Coming to written examination ,total marks written examination is 100 marks and each question carries one mark

Negative marking of 1/2

Once marks will be alloted you will be escalated for physical standards Test or physical efficiency test.

The final merit list for the selection of Sub Inspector (communication) will be prepared with the following criteria:

1) Written Examination - 50% - 100 marks
2) Extra-Curricular-Activities - 15% - 30 marks
3) Technical Proficiency - 15% - 30 marks
4) Physical Efficiency Test (PET) - 20% - 40 marks
