Hello Sir, I have applied in State Bank Of India Specialist Cadre Officer recruitment of this year. But I don’t know how they are going to select the candidates. Can you please let me know about the selection procedure?

Selection process for the recruitment:

The selection will be based on shortlisting and interview. The Shortlisting Committee constituted by the Bank will decide the shortlisting parameters and according to that, limited number of candidates will be shortlisted and called for interview. The decision of the bank to call the candidates for the interview shall be final.

Then merit list for selection will be prepared in descending order on the basis of the marks obtained in interview only. In case more than one candidate score the cut-off marks, such candidates will be ranked according to their age in descending order, in the merit.

The selection of Specialist Cadre Officer under SBI recruitment will be done on the basis of performance in their qualifying examination. Candidates who qualifies with good marks will be shortlisted and then have to appear for a personal interview for the final selection.
