Re: Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level is going to be conducted with overall cutoff or sectional cutoff this time?
No, there is no such Sectional Cutoff in Staff Selection Commission Examinations. Yes, Staff Selection Commission conducts several examinations namely SSC CGL, SSC Muti Tasking Staff Exam, SSC Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) Exam, SSC Stenographer recruitment's.
There is no particular sectional cutoff in all the above mentioned examinations conducted by Staff Selection Commission. There are two tiers in SSC CGL Exam followed by Interview. So there is no sectional cutoff in SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam and no sectional cutoff in SSC CGL Tier 2 Examination. Note: Having no sectional cutoff is the main advantage in SSC based recruitment's. So I suggest you to score more in the interested subject and then can score more overall marks. |

Re: Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level is going to be conducted with overall cutoff or sectional cutoff this time?
There is no sectional cutoff in the SSC CGL Examination 2016.
The cutoff is applied at the different levels of the selection process, i.e., Tier 1, Tier 2 and the aggregate cutoff for appearing in the Interview. It is necessary to clear the CGL Tier -1 cut off to be eligible to appear in the Tier-2 Exam. The cutoff is applied for all the categories i.e. General, SC, ST, OBC and PwD separately. |

Re: Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level is going to be conducted with overall cutoff or sectional cutoff this time?
SSC CGL stands for Staff Selection Commission Combined Gradauate Level examination. It has following eligibility criteria:
1. Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. 2. Age limit is 18-27 years for most of posts and 20-30 years for Sub Inspector. It is only rumour, there is no truth in it, overall cut off marks will be taken into account for shortlisting candidates for Tier II. |

No, it will be only overall cut off marks for selection of candidates for Tier II examination. SSC CGL examination was scheduled to happen in first two weeks of May but it was shifted to August to certain problems.
You need to carry on your preparation as there is no official notice regarding sectional cut off marks for shortlisting candidates. |
