Yes, you can join in Indian Army as BAMS doctor.
To be a part of Medical Officer in Indian Army or Navy the candidate must fulfill the following eligibility criteria.

The candidate age should be less than 45 years.

The candidate are obliged to be registered with any of the Indian State Council or its equivalent.

Must be mentally and physically sounds healthy.

Must be citizen of India.


Selection process in Indian Army are:
You can enter in to the Indian Army as doctor either through the SSC ( Short Service Commission) or AFMC Cadet Entry.

The selected candidate will be called for medical test.

You can join in Indian Army as a BAMS graduates .

Candidates age should be not more than 45 years

Candidates citizenship should be an Indian

Candidates should be mentally and physically fit .

Candidates also have to appear in the entrance exam called SSC.

Main criterion a candidate must keep in mind is to possess a medical qualification and to have permanent registration from any State Medical Council.

If you are BAMS (Doctor) ,you are not eligible for job opportunities in defence Service till you complete your MBBS.
