Hello friends, I am going to apply for the Odisha Civil Services Examination of 2021. I just want to know about the pattern of this examination. Can anyone tell me about the pattern? Kindly tell me about the cost of this application as well.

The pattern of the Odisha Civil Services Examination 2021 is given below.

Preliminary exam:

It consists of 2 papers of objective type.

Paper I- General Studies
200 marks

Paper-II: Aptitude and Ability test.
Qualifying in nature.
200 marks.

OPSC Mains Exam 2021-

Mains exam: 5 compulsory papers and 4 optional papers.

Application fee -

Candidates have to pay ₹ 500 only.

Note- SC and STs of Odisha and persons with 40% disability are exempted from payment of this fee.

Exam Pattern:-

1 - OPSC Civil Services Preliminary Exam:-

The Preliminary exam shall comprise of two papers of objective type -

Paper - 1 General Studies - 200 marks
Paper - II General Studies - 200 marks
Each paper shall be of two hours duration.

2 - OPSC Civil Services Mains Exam:-

The Mains exam shall comprise of 5 papers which are each as follows:-

Paper - 1 Odia Language - 300 marks
Paper - 2 English - 300 marks
Paper - 3 English Essay - 200 marks
Paper - 4 General Studies 1 - 300 marks Paper - 5 General Studies 2 - 300 marks Paper 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th - Optional papers -1200 marks

The candidate has to select two subjects from the list of optional subjects. Each subject will have two papers and each paper carrying 300 marks.

Each paper shall be of 3 hours duration.

3 - OPSC Civil Services Personality Test:-

The interview shall carry 250 marks which will be a final round for selecting eligible candidates for group A and group B posts. The candidate shall be interviewed by a board to be constituted by opsc for the purpose.

Paper - 1 Oriya Language - 300 marks.
Paper - II English - 300 marks
Paper - III English Essay - 200 marks
Paper - IV General Studies 1 - 300 marks
Paper - V General Studies 2 - 300 marks Paper - VI,VII,VIII, IX - There will optional subjects any two subject will be selected.

Each subject has two papers - 300 marks each.

Examination is conducted in three stages.

Three stages are :-

Preliminary stage - Objective test ( 2 paper ).

Mains - subjective ( includes two optional paper ).

Personality Test.

Only after qualifying in all the stages, you will become eligible for final recruitment.

Further, the cost of filling an application for the same examination is Rs. 500/- for all candidates except S.C./S.T./PWD category candidates of Odisha.
