Hello friends, I am going to apply for the Punjab PSC Civil Services Exam of 2020. I just want to know about the pattern of this examination. Can anyone tell me about the pattern? Kindly tell me about the cost of this application as well.

Pattern of Punjab PSC Civil Services Exam and Cost of application:-

The exam duration will be two hours.

There will be two papers

Paper - 1 includes general studies 100 marks( 2 marks each )

Paper - 2 will be civil services aptitude test for 80 marks( 2.5 marks each) for 200 marks

There will be no negative marking in the the written test.

PPSC Preliminary exam pattern:
°°° Exam will be objective type containing multiple choice questions.

°°° There will be two papers of 200 marks each.

°°°Each paper will be of 2 hours.

°°° Paper 1 will consist of general studies and total number of questions will be hundred.

°°° Paper 2 will be civil services Aptitude Test consisting of 80 questions.

°°° There will be no negative marking.

PPSC Mains Exam Pattern:

°°° It will be descriptive in nature.

°°° There will be 4 general studies papers.

PPSC Exam Pattern 2020:

• The PPSC exam pattern includes 3 stages
-PPSC Preliminary exam
-PPSC Mains exam
-PPSC Interview

Those candidates who qualified the preliminary exam will write the mains exam and then the applicants are shortlisted for interview. The final result will only consider marks of mains and interview.


Preliminary exam pattern

-There will be multiple choice questions and
two papers of 200 marks each.
-Each paper will be of 2 hours each.
-There is no negative marking.

Mains exam pattern:

-This exam will be descriptive in Nature.
-There are 4 General studies paper.
