Hello friends, I am going to apply for the Uttar Pradesh PSC Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services Exam of 2020. I just want to know about the pattern of this examination. Can anyone tell me about the pattern? Kindly tell me about the cost of this application as well.

What is the pattern of Uttar Pradesh PSC Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services Exam 2020:-

UPPSC PSC Prelims exam is conducted offline in pen and paper mode.

Questions are asked in objective multiple choice questions (MCQs) format .


Prelims exam is held in 2 section for paper 1 and Paper 2.

Both the papers are of 200 marks each.

Time duration of both the papers is 2 hours each.

There is negative marking of one third marking for every wrong answer.

General / EWS / OBC exam fee - Rs. 100 Online processing fees - 25
Total: Rs 125

SC / ST exam fee - Rs 40
Online processing fee - Rs 25
Total - Rs 65

Handicapped - No exam fee
Online processing - Rs 25
Total - Rs 25.

>> Preliminary Examination consists of 2 compulsory papers of which the answer sheet be on OMR Sheets.
Syllabus is in Appendix 5 of the advertisement provided below.
Each paper shall be of - 200 marks
Duration of Examination - 2 hours
Both papers will be objective type and multiple choice in which there will be 150-100 questions respectively.
Paper I timing - 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM
Paper II timing - 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM
