I want to know when the notification for RRB JE Civil is going to be release? What is the eligibility criteria for applying? Please reply as soon as possible.

Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) conducts entrance exam for the placement of the Junior Engineers in the Railway department .

-The educational qualification required for Railway Entrance exam for Junior Engineer is three years Diploma in concerned Engineering Discipline like Civil / Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics etc.

-The candidate age limit to apply for the exam is from 20 years to 35 Years.There is relaxation in upper age limit for OBC candidates by 3 years and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

-The selection procedure for the exam conducted by RRB consists of

Written Examination ,

Medical test ,

Interview, and

Certificate Verification.


-The syllabus for the examination consists of

General Awareness

General intelligence

General Science

Arithmetic

Reasoning

Technical Ability

Junior Engineer receives salary of Pay Scale INR 9300 to INR 34800 with a Grade Pay of INR 4200 .


Date of Issuing of the Notice: - 27th June 2015

Date Closing Date of Applying: - 26th July 2015

Date of Online Exam: - Between 22nd August 2015 to 5th September 2015 .

The exact date for notification of RRB JE Civil has not yet declared by the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB). Eligibility criteria required to apply for RRB JE Civil examination is mentioned below :-

1. You must be in between 18-32 years of age. Upper age relaxation is applicable to reserved category candidates as per government rules.

2. You must have completed three years Diploma in Civil Engineering course from a recognised university.
